Deposits, Cancellations & Surcharges

          Deposits:

  • For pet-sitting services, 50% of the total invoice amount is due within 10 days of receiving the invoice. The other 50% is due by the day the service begins.
  • For walks, drop-ins, or grooming services, full payment is to be made by the day of the service.
  • A $50 late fee will apply if full payment is not made by the day of service.
  • If there is a no-call/no-show for a scheduled meet and greet, a $30 non-refundable deposit will be required before scheduling a new meet and greet.

    Cancellations:

  • A full refund of the deposit will be issued if canceled at least 7 days in advance.
  • 50% refund if canceled 4-6 days before the service.
  • No refund will be issued if canceled 3 days or less OR if the service is canceled while it is occurring.
  • If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the service start time, a $15 fee will apply and no refund will be issued, as last-minute changes limit our ability to accommodate other clients.

    Surcharges:

  • Travel Fees:
    Additional charges depend on the distance from the sitter’s home to the service location
    • +$10 will be added to all services between 6-10 miles.
    • +$15 will be added to all services between 11-15 miles.
    • +$20 will be added to all services 16 miles and up.
  • Holiday Fees ($15):
    An additional charge for any services requested on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
